Alpine’s current iDA model – the X001. An innovative new product that came very close to offering the ideal iPod front end for drivers, it suffered as much from innovation in Alpine’s own lower-end products as any other form of competition. Nevertheless, a promising concept that offers good features for the driver willing to sacrifice traditional media.
